Vimal Kumar Singh

Mr. Vimal Kumar Singh is a New Delhi-based communication strategist, writer, editor, and media entrepreneur with over three decades of experience spanning journalism, publishing, public communication, and social development. He is the Managing Director of Samvad Media Pvt. Ltd., a multimedia organisation dedicated to documenting, interpreting, and disseminating India’s intellectual, cultural, and civilisational heritage through books, magazines, and documentary films.

A graduate in Political Science and a trained lawyer from the Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, he brings a rare blend of analytical depth, editorial rigour, and institutional understanding to his work. He has led and shaped editorial teams across Hindi and English publications, including Bhartiya Paksha, Purvai, and Legal Spectrum.

Beyond media and publishing, Mr. Singh has been actively engaged with grassroots development and nation-building initiatives. He has served as an advisor to Jharkhand University of Technology and contributed as a volunteer during the founding phase of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Since 2004, he has been a core team member of Bharat Vikas Sangam, a national network committed to nature-centric, sustainable, and decentralised development. His work reflects a sustained commitment to collaborative social action and culturally rooted development.
