International Visiting Fellow
Pooran Chandra Pandey is currently an International Visiting Fellow, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan (R.O.C) in Taipei, Pooran Chandra Pandey also serves as an adviser to both UNESCO’s Inclusive Policy Lab, in Paris.
Previously, he has served United Nations Global Compact India, Nippon Denro, Bennett, Coleman & Co., Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute, in Berlin in leadership positions. Having conceived and led the ‘world’s largest volunteers-led campaign ‘Teach India’, as quoted by UN Secretary General, Pooran also contributed to global encyclopedia on sustainable development. He also holds professor of practice positions at multiple international universities – University of South Africa, Deakin University, UTS Sydney, to name a few. Academically, Pooran is trained and educated in India, US, Sweden Fiji and China. He is also a British Chevening Scholar at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.
Recognized for his contributions in the realm of ‘science and sustainability’, he was bestowed with Study UK Alumni Awards by UK Government (2021).
